Maria Medina shows off her Torta Chilanga gigante cubana style, which is a giant sandwich with leg meat, chorizo, hot dogs, eggs, ham, and milanesa (a flattened steak that has been breaded and fried), all topped with cheese. Maria has worked in taquerias for more than 40 years, including owning and operating a torta restaurant in the capital of Mexico, where her Torta Chilanga originated.
