Why We Love It: The Winslow Farmers Market is a small-scale community market designed for neighbors, by neighbors. Any who wish may sell from a table or from the back of a vehicle. Standard items include locally grown plants, herbs, vegetables, and fruits. Individuals also sell baked goods, such as breads and granolas, eggs, crafts, jewelry, and ocassionally books and other flea market items. After shopping the market, walk across the street to the Mercantile and enjoy a cup of coffee with the locals in the Coffee Klatch. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/120411201365417) Located in the old Train Depot, time your visit just right and wave at the passengers of the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad as they tour the scenic route from Springdale to Van Buren (http://www.vanburentours.com/offer/507/Arkansas-&-Missouri-Train-to-Van-Buren-from-Springdale---Coach-Class). All are welcome. Drum circles encouraged.
