Amber Alexander

Amber Alexander, a sixth-generation Arkansawyer, has lived from New England to Southern California but always knew she belonged right back in the middle, in the Ozarks. When she can outwit the 10th-generation groundhog, she feeds her family and their backyard chickens on the vegetables and fruits wrestled from their Bermuda grass-infested “back 40” square yards in Fayetteville.
